I really enjoyed this book. Granted, it seems it's more geared towards teen/young adults, but even as an adult I still found it both entertaining and informative as well. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who open minded is actively engaged in their ascension process.Product details

I enjoyed this book immensely! It seems these days that characters are not fully developed and the portrait of young heroins shows them as vapid, faceless girls with no depth or meaning to their life. This book changes that. For me, Lucy grows from a college freshman from a small town into the role of a great leader. It is a role she was born to fulfill even if she had to awaken to it. The love and emotion she pours out to everyone she touches is written beautifully and you can tell great time was taken to make Lucy the woman she becomes by the end. Humble, strong, and capable of many great things, Lucy grabbed my heart and took me on an amazing journey. I imagined the movie when reading the book which to me, is an important aspect of being entertained by a novel. I can't wait to see what is in store for the Light Warriors in the next installment, and hope the film is in the works soon! It also pleases me to forward my copy on to my teenage daughters as Lucy is someone I would want them to admire as a strong leading lady who makes people think, has a strong will for good and, is not a faceless girl in the crowd. I was enthralled from beginning to end and so proud of Lucy for what she accomplished! Bravo!
Lucy Hayes, now a college freshman, being bored and seeking adventure often causes her to walk where angels fear to tread. The story begins with Lucy at a party where the boys are using a Ouija Board. She can hear the scratching and feel the cold for she has always been able to see things and orbs in the dark. After the planchette flies out of the boy's hand and it is asked, "Why?"it replies, "Because of that bitch." In their family library, a book literally tumbles off the highest shelf at Lucy's feet...Inanna, Goddess of the Overworld and Underworld. On the face sheet is drawn a heart with Eli penned in the center. After researching, Lucy learns that Inanna sought to discover the difference between good and bad in the world.
She cannot explain weird occurrences like when her sheer curtains flutter where there is no draft and her door handle refuses to turn until she yells at it. In her college philosophy class, she catches the attention of a suave young man when she blurts out in class "Humanity is good!...Evil is nothing more than a disease on this planet and everyone is too lazy to heal their bloody asses!" So begins Lucy's search for evil, which must be discovered and conquered.
Eli becomes her partner in the war against evil, telling her of a small, dark brotherhood of evil. He gives her a deck of mysterious, well-worn cards...pictograms to jolt her memories from this and former lifetimes. At a teenage nightclub, Eli and his brothers save her from the clutches of evil men and take her to a well-hidden farm in the country where she meets Mama Jane, who explains to Lucy about her third eye, her natural clairvoyance, that the planets are moving into alignment, thereby disturbing Earth's electro-magnetic energies and she must open a Stargate to help Earth before the Great Galactic Shift. Lucy's paranormal gifts are magnified by a fountain of energy in the forest and now she can see orbs and extra-terrestrial space craft.
One of the mysterious cards on which there is the figure of a human with a snake wrapped around the lower torso and legs awakens in Lucy the knowledge that the genes of two different beings genetically blended together are the basis of the human genome, causing her to deduce that cloning and the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden are one and the same. In order to control humanity, what creatures have been genetically manipulating the human DNA?
In order to complete her mission, Lucy learns self defense, physically and mentally by controlling her emotions and wrapping herself in a protective cocoon of light. She learns of Star Races and Stargates, particularly the one she must open. The most destructive Star Race is the Naki, a serpent race who has continuously devastated Earth and kept it enslaved. The Naki intend to invade Earth. The Galactic Council and a Star Race named the Nagi offer to help cleanse Earth after Lucy completes her role.
Throughout the story, Lucy is romantically drawn to Eli, although he doesn't overtly respond because he doesn't want to deter her from her mission. A long lost love. Aaron, from another timeline and planet, enters the picture to help Lucy and she is torn between Eli and Aaron. Isadora, Lucy's personal E.T. guardian presents herself. Particularly at this time the Naki are attempting to stop the opening of the largest Stargate in Peru and time is running out. It is Lucy's mission to insert four disks in receptacles deep underground in a cavern, in which Lucy is lowered alone and attacked by the vampire Naki. Does Lucy with the help of Isadora, Eli and Aaron accomplish her mission? Is Lucy able to fight off the vampires in the underground chasms of Peru? Does Lucy save Earth? Does Lucy make a choice between Aaron and Eli and if so, who?
I highly recommend this book for all sci-fi readers. The story riddled with mysticism, thrills, action, romance and scientific truths moves swiftly along. Besides being enjoyable, the story nicely and interestingly encompasses some metaphysical philosophy and scientific theories.
Lucy Hayes has felt out of place all her life. Never quite fitting in. Always feeling like something was missing or out of place, right up to the start of her Freshman year at Willamette University. It is then that her life is turned upside down by a handsome stranger named Eli who hints that she is the key to something bigger. Her life is then turned absolutely inside out when dark forces enter her life, requiring Eli to rescue her and reveal her true nature She is a Light Warrior, an Ascended Being, who has voluntarily assumed human form to combat evil forces that want to keep earth ignorant of its magical past, and deny its potential place among the star races. A cosmic rule prevents Ascended Beings from interfering directly in the affairs of mankind, but that is not the case for the Dark Brotherhood, an earthbound order of extraterrestrial reptilians and soul sucking space vampires who in the distant past outright enslaved humanity, but now rule through misinformation and conspiracy with complicit evil humans.
It's up to Lucy Hayes to take her rightful place at Eli's side and his band of Light Warriors who come from diverse backgrounds and skills. Lucy's untapped potential will be the key they've been waiting for to open the Light Gates...pathways of cosmic energy that have been cut off by the Dark Brotherhood to prevent earth from basking in the loving glow of the Universe. Once that has been done, the world will see with unfiltered eyes the lies they've been living under and rise up.
Unfortunately, to get around the cosmic noninterference rule Lucy had to descend to earth as a naturally born human, leaving her confused, weakened, and ignorant of her previous life. It is a race against time for Eli and his band to train and prepare her for the final battle before evil can permanently shut the gates. This all becomes more challenging when Eli and Lucy fall in love just about the time help arrives in the form of Lucy's soul mate from her previous life, and Aron isn't about to give her up without a fight.
Can Lucy overcome her doubts about her abilities, and quiet the distracting struggle in her heart between the love for what she knows, and the stirring memories of a mate before it's too late?

Absolutely captivating! Opens a different world in my mind. Friendship, humanity, love, positive, uplifting, clean. Great story. Couldn't put this down.
